TNT in Brazil has built a strong structure for the automotive market. In 2007, TNT acquired Expresso Mercúrio, the market leader for the South, Southeast and Northeast of the country. After the acquisition, the company became TNT Mercúrio.
In April 2009, Expresso Araçatuba, the leader of Middle West and North of Brazil, was acquired and TNT became the unique player of the market able to provide road transportation for the whole country, more than 5.000 cities.
Nowadays, TNT has over 8.000 employees, 2.500 owned vehicles in 124 units across the country. In 2009, TNT launched the unique express road transportation of the Brazilian market for Chile and Argentina that includes day definite time, door-to-door services, full track and trace and customs brokerage services.
The international road transportation service is also offered to Bolívia, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay, countries that TNT has units and partners.
